![]() I just downloaded the latest version of Limewire 2.4.1 for my Mac powebook running OS 9.1 I had hoped that the newer version would allow me to bypass this firewall that my university put up a few months ago, but it still looks like I can't connect. I even went to the options and selected the box to force IP to get through but to no avail. So I guess what I'd like to know is there any body out there that has managed to figure out how to connect from behind a university implemented firewall. Are there other ports besides the main ones that are commonly used for file sharing that can be used? Is there any hope at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
