![]() I'm running OS 8.6 on a fairly tidy beige G3. I've got MRJ 2.2.5. When I try to launch LimeWire I see this alert: Fatal Application Error This Application has Unexpectedly Quit Invocation of this Java Application has caused an InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit. (LAX) Then upon clicking the "DetailsÉ" button we see: Application Exception Details java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/limegroup/gnutella/gui/ResourceManager at com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.GUIMediator.getStringRe source(Unknown Source) at at com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Initializer.initialize( Unknown Source) at com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Main.main(Unknown Source) at com.zerog.lax.LAX.launch(Compiled Code) at com.zerog.lax.LAX.main(Unknown Source) at com.apple.mrj.JManager.JMStaticMethodDispatcher.ru n(JMAWTContextImpl.java) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java) I've looked for answers in the forum. I even wrote Cyclocide. I see you can edit a file called LimeWire.props but I can't find that on my Mac. Is the cable company blocking LimeWire? Am I only one of a few who've had this problem? What is the deal? SomebodyÉ Please, Please, Please helpÉ Thank U! ![]() Last edited by RootBanger; June 3rd, 2002 at 02:19 AM. |
