hello,
I had the same problem. If virtual memory is off try switching it on. This fixed it for me.
My mac doesn't have much memory so I try not run any other programs at the same time either.

A blank screen or buttons appearing only when clicked is almost certainly due to lack of memory. My old Mac only had 128Mb of RAM and to avoid this problem I only ran LimeWire when I was not doing anything else.

My new Mac has much more RAM and the problem has not reocurred.

All the best,

Limey

not RAM problem

I just started experiencing the blank screen problem but my Limewire was working just fine for a long time...until lately when the connections are being bombarded with Morpheus, etc. and it is impossible to download any files. My computer has 800 mb RAM so I definetly don't think it is a memory problem. I boosted the memory for the Limewire application and will see if that helps.

I suspect that someone out there is messing around with us. No, I'm not usually a paranoid person. Perhaps I'm way off. It's just that the troubles lately have directly coincided with my Limewire not working properly. It's at the point where, if there is a a big push to get us to stop downloading, it's working. I'm so busy removing foreign connections and deleting duplicate uploads that by the time I conduct my search, Limewire becomes blank. It's not very useful. Anyway, I will see if increasing the application memory helps...if not, I would consider the possibility of foul play.
