I am on a Mac and want to burn MP3's (that I have downloaded) to a CD that will play in my regular CD player. I am a bit confused as to what I need to do or have to accomplish this.

All I did was open itunes and click the 'burn cd' button and it will take you along from there, I found it burn my mp3s faster than using Toast Titanium 5, btw itunes will convert your mp3s to wav or aiff files so you listen to your cds with a regular cd player.
