Mac Os 9.1 install

I've just downloaded the limewire 1.4 for Mac (7.5 MB file). I double clicked on the "install" icon after the download and a window with a progress indicator apears below a message: "InstallAnywhere is preparing to install! This may take a few moments. Extracting this application's installer". Then after the progress is over the message changes to: "Running application's installer". After this, the window closes and nothing happens. I've tried everything! Please help me! I'm running MAC OS 9.1 in a G4 733 with 768MB of RAM.
