I downloaded Limewire a few weeks ago and successfully installed it on my Mac. That was before my hard drive died. I’ve since gotten a new hard drive but when I try to use the installer, a little window appears saying, “Unable to launch Java application. The properties files is missing an essential property: lax.main.class. Please make sure it exists in the properties file.” Then it says it can’t install Limewire. The same thing happened when I tried to install it from a MacAddict CD. I have an iMac with a 9.1 OS. Please help. Thanks.
