 2.6.3 exceeding RAM allocation by 62 Mb!!!! alright first off, I am an AASP. I'm running a G3 (400 MHz) Minitower OS 9.1 with approx. 420 Mb DRAM. When running 2.6.3 I get horrible lag and graphics stalls. The preffered memory allocation is set at 5000 Kb, however, in the ATC, it's showing up at 67 Mb and the OS is only using 55 Mb!!!! I've ran every kind of software test I've got to check for any corroption in the Limewire .jar (Mac Test Pro; TechTool Pro; Norton 7; etc) to no avail.
