Question QuickTime6... QT files downloading as REAL files
Can anyone help me and others on this forum with something...

Limewire has always downloaded mp3 files and saved them in Quicktime format... Perfect for iTunes, burnings, etc etc...

After the download of QT v.6... They all download as REAL files which is a pain in the butt.... Can anyone help??? Is there a way to get it back to normal?

I have the same problem whit realplayer.And it also happens whit quicktime 5 its a realpain does someone how 2 solve this problem.

Download DivX Player 1.0b10. It comes with a converter that turns Real files into Quicktime files.

somehow your helper files are set to realplayer for your mp3 play back
go into your browser prefrencs and go to app helper and change it back
to quick time ...
