You're not the only one.. I have exactly the same problem.. tried uninstalling a re-installing.. same error. I am ready to give up. I'll search a bit more for an answer, but i don't know what else to try.

(Running MAC 9.2 - no problems with previous versions)

Thumbs down

I have a 9.1 system and the 2.7.3 wouldn't come up when I launched it. Same error as you guys. Hate to "me, too", but I just wanted them to know that this is pretty pervasive.

Still had my 2.6.5 install package and THAT came up like a charm.

Default Java Error

Same problem with a brand-new mac running system 9.2.2
-Did they even test this 2.7 before releasing it?

How about making an updater so we don't have to download
the whole program again (and uninstall the old one first).

If I hadn't saved my old installer I'd be out of luck!

I had the same problem also and I thought if I went back to my previous working version it may work but now they don't even work, got the same message over and over... 2.7.6 messed everythin up and I want an update NOW!

Default Me too!

I use Mac OS 9.2.2, and my 2.6 version of limewire worked great... but the update message kept popping up, so I figured I might as well... but now I have no functional limewire at all! I have the exact same error message that the first post on this thread described!
