 Files don't open. After downloading a file (any file, but very rarely Audio files aren't affected. Ditto with some Programs) the icon appears as a blank page with the top-right corner folded down, described only as a document. The size is correct. When I try to open them, I get the message "Could not find the application that created....." The only alternate options shown are Acrobat Reader & Avid Cataloger. I didn't have this problem until I swapped in a larger HD. I'm using OS 9.1 & Limewire 4.5 on a PowerMac 8500 W/G3 proc. THANKS!  |
