Lightbulb Advice in Advance for 2.7.11

Hi all! Just downloaded version 2.7.11, as many of you might be doing pretty soon. Whenever I tried to launch it, it would just stay loading the "user interface". If you find the same thing happens when you install it, just do the following. It's our old friend who solved the endless Wizard problem in 2.7.9

-Go to .limewire Preferences folder in your System Folder
-Delete file "limewire props"
-Trash the sucka, and you'll be ready to go.

Just spreadin' the love and the good news,
Carrie M.

ok, i did what you said and when you launch limewire again it has you enter all the info about your connection and all that... after that... hung up on "loading user interface" once again.

Doesn't LimeWire even check to see if the new version even boot or not? I mean come on now, your supposed to check to see if it gets passed the opening screen before releasing it

Thumbs up

I did what you said and it worked like a charm!! good call!

For everyone else, remember that in th preference folder, the Limewire folder will be near the top since the folder is named ".limewire" - It will not be listed with the "L's"
