Hey all.. if you didn't know, there's a new version out now. Seems to work fine, and I'm keeping it as it is. No more upgrades for me, unless it's absolutely neccessary.

Our apologies for all of the problems, folks. We will be more conservative about testing and changes in the future.

In general regarding upgrades, though, I really enourage everyone to upgrade when there are new versions out, especially major new releases. This is because LimeWire and the Gnutella network are evolving very rapidly, and you should continue to see some quite dramatic improvements in the technology. Those improvements are only truly felt, however, if as many people as possible are using the new features.

So, I understand your hesitation, but I promise to be more careful about releases in the future, and we've learned a lot from the 2.7.x experience. Life should only get better from here!
