how do I move files from limewire into itunes?
 

I am using 9.2 to run my G4 powerbook, and I cannot move the music I down load from limewire into itunes. I can launch files in Limewire and they play I think by using quick time, but I want to burn c.d.'s and I need to move everything into itunes. Before I paid for limewire and was using the free version the downloads automatically appeared in itunes. HELP!! I am really at a loss, If any one has any ideas or has had the same problem and solved it let me know.

I am running (LimeWire Pro on a PowerBook G3 with 9.2.1) but do not have problems.

When the download is complete it automatically appeares in iTunes song list and automatically files in Documents:iTunes (when I hit the launch button)?

??Make sure in iTunes under File - Preferences you have set 'Use iTunes for Internet Music Playback' (I repeated this action several times because I thought the button was 'stickey'?).

??Also in LimeWire under Tools-Options-Saving, enter your Saved Directory as /iMac HD/Documents/iTunes/iMusic/

I tried everything you said to do and I still cannot get the music downloads into iTunes? Any more ideas?

Just to make sure, I've downloaded some more mp3's during the night and checking things this morning the item has been transfered into my Documents/iTunes/iTunes Music file and also appeares in the listing in LimeWire Library.

[In LimeWire, under Tools-Options-Sharing-Shared Directories make sure you have chosen /iMac HD/Documents/iTunes/iTunesMusic/ as one of your Shared Directories?]

Then in LimeWire;

When I highlight the item in the Search/Downloads window I click the Launch button and the tune appears in the iTunes song list and starts playing.
