What information do I have to enter into the "exceptions" in my firewall application in order to allow Limewire downloads? Thanks.

i could with a bit of help here too

i'm using norton personal and i have been fiddling with the settings

heres my settings

DHCP allow only ISP IP

file sharing (optional) deny all

limewire port 6346 allow all

program linking deny

web sharing deny

all others allow only ISP IP

I have web access and can download and connecting is'nt a problem but uploading has slowed to nothing(sharing 800 odd, files)

I can still upload to E mail etc

hope this helps some

bit of fine tuning required but i'll get there

add limewire port 6347 allow all access

to let people upload from you
