Question no hosts and no files

This started at least two months back when I was running limewire in OSX. Now my OSX is hot working anyways, so I may as well get limewire working in OS 9.2 since I'm having the same problem with limewire in both OS's. It seems that my computer isn't connecting with any (or at least with very few) hosts, say 3 on average. I usually have no files available, although sometimes 900 or so will pop up with the 2 or 3 hosts I have. I telnet-ed to the gnutella network to ensure I was actually connected, and I definitely was. I'm not behind a firewall or anything of the sort :s Suggestions?
