can not download

Hi, I just recently installed the spanish version of LimeWire on my iBook and I'm trying to download some audio files, but it keeps me waiting and waiting and nothing happens (every file stays on the so-many-seconds-waiting thing). I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or is just not working...
can anybody help me????
