Question What is a .pax file???

I have just dowloaded a file from Limewire:

iMovieUpdater3.0.1.pax

Thinking this would be an update for iMovie 3 I uncompressed the file, but I cannot seem to install or unpack this .pax file.

Can anybody help we with this?

Default package osX

Sounds like a package file for osX. If you need any updater for Apple products get them from Apple. You know they will be good, and the download is so much quicker you'll be done before you can load LimeWire. Well almost.
