Default more help please

okay, I tried to do what you said, but when I hit get info, I got no memory option. Nada. I had to find the original Limewire, which I was able to do but now (don't ask me how) I keep getting a window saying Limewire has unexpectedly quit. So now I can't even get ON it. What did I do wrong? I was never able to find the memory option. I am cryin' over this!!! Please save the day for me!!!

I'll try!

What I'm guessing is that when you set your mouse over Get Info, you let go of it (or clicked on Get Info) which opens the "LimeWire Info" window. About 3 lines down it should say: "Show:" and there is a menu. Click on this. The first item is "General Information:"; then "Sharing"; then "Memory". Click on Memory. From that window you can changed the Minumum and Preferred Size. I have mine set to 40000 K (if I said 60 before, sorry! )

Also, be sure you are not running LimeWire when you do this. You need to quit LimeWire and then click on the application program (in the LimeWire folder) just to highlight it. Don't double-click. Then go to File and choose Get Info and follow the above instructions.

After you do this, post back if you are still having "unexpectedly quit" problems and what causes them. I'll help if I can.

She should also RESTART her computer and perhaps not have too many programs running at the same time.
