Java problems I've downloaded Limewire basic several times and the same thing goes on. I double click the instalation icon and the files goes strait to the trash. Java Run Time is already instaled in my computer (iMac G3 500MHz 256 MB), my HD name is the original (Macintosh HD)... I'll keep on looking. There's more people with the same problem. Anyway, if somebody know another file sharing software for mac, please tell me. Thanks |

I've had a similar problem. Before you get too exited, I don't know the sollution. But i do know another program, wich works with gnutella. It is called mactella. It's a very simple program, but try it, unfortunately sometimes the connection fails, but it is worth the try. I think you can download it at tucows.com Anyway, going java problem-solution hunting again. Bye |

I solved my problem!! Here's what you do: Get rid of AAAALLLLL that has to do with limewire on your computer. This you do after you run the uninstall program. To make sure you got rid of all copies of limewire, use sherlock to detect limewire (just type limewire, and search) Then you can download the install program from the internet again. This should work. Bye |
