limewire mp3 player

i have mac os 9 and the limewire that i downloaded does not have the mp3 player...is this normal....if not how can i change this...AND does anyone have suggestions for free mp3 players for mac os 9... thanks

The LimeWire mp3 player is not supported in the classic version only in the OS X version.

And for a free mp3 player, try iTunes from apple. Just goto apple.com and download it from there.

thanks for your help...however itunes is for only OSX these days, anyone have another suggestion?

jb20 is right. iTunes for OS 9 is available on the Apple support site here

No it's not. I got itunes with my mac and 9.1.

if it doesn't launch limewire, throw out the itunes preferences and then try. i always have to do that especailly with a limewire upgrade.
