i just got cable internet adn upgraded from 56k. limewire worked fine until i got broadband. Now when i search for anything i get 0 or very few hits. Even when i search for blink 182(which i got hundreds of results from my 56k internet). Someone tell me whats wrong. and why its not working.

but I think the beat-band you referred to is popular among the young who largely inhabit educational LANs. They may be a little bit frightened right now that the big bad RIAA is gonna eat them for breakfast. Try searching for something the wrinklies might like and see how many of them have their music stalls out for sharing.
