I hear there are some issues with the LW Installer. Suggest you download
http://www.stuffit.com/mac/standard/index.html the free (trial) version...(there is no stuffit Lite anymore?) do not use shrink to decompress any files. 1st make sure you have the MRJ 2.2.5 update installed. Use Stuffit Expander...above to decompress the updater. Search your drive w/ sherlock and trash anything Limewire. Download your LW installer, Expand w/ stuffitt and reinstall. Make adjustments to memory allocations for LW and MRJ. And finally launch the LW app.
I did have issues w the installer. the log kept saying" installation successfull,
nonfatal errors"...I kept trashing everything and reinstalling untill I no longer got those messages.

good luck and have fun!
keep us posted...
& don't give up.

Dave

Default SETUP WIZARD HAS NO BUTTONS MAC OS 9.2.2

Ive had the same problem--No Buttons (Back, Next, Cancel). I used LimeWire Free Version starting Dec 02 with success. Then decided to try LimeWire Pro. This worked for awhile and then the buttons disappeared in the main window (Search, Download, etc.) following a BUG REPORT. I reinstalled LW PRO. The Wizard then malfunctioned and showed no buttons. I've tried every version of LimeWire: Pro, Free and Beta and get the same result.

Since the program USED TO WORK, I have to believe that the Bug or the program did something permanent to my hard drive. Whatever this is is still there even though I delete all LimeWire files, apps, installers and reinstall.

I'm contemplating reinstalling my system software.

I've seen several similar threads regarding buttons disappearing in both Wizard and LW main windows.

If anyone has recovered from this problem, please let me know!!

Thanks
