Default 9.2.2 Limewire quits, and quits.

Updated to limewire 3.2, running OS 9.2.2. Launch Limewire and it quits. I remembered about MRJ problems and increasing memory to Apple Applet Runner (MRJ 2.2.5) so I checked and increased memory to 32mb. Same thing.

WTF??

I paid for Limewire Pro and got headaches for my trouble. I guess Java problems aren't resolved and limewire is just hoping everyone upgrades to OS X? SUXXXXXXXX!

Have you also increased the memory allocation for the limewire application?
I give it 64 MB under 9.1, virtual memory off. Very stable.

Also, do you have the latest version of CarbonLib?

Limewire has 64mb, CarbonLib is 1.6, which I believe is the latest.

I had this problem before and I fixed it with the mentioned MRJ solution. I replaced a HD and since then, problems. I had hoped this would have been addressed with the 3.2 update, but alas.

Well, let's go through the standard procedure. Did you try totally uninstalling LW, removing everything with the word "Lime" in it, that is preferences, everything, and reinstalling?

Yes, twice, although the second time included the upgrade to LW 3.2

I wonder if it's an extension conflict. Try going to extensions manager, and saving your current extensions set. Then go to Apple All. Try running LW, see if it works. I bet it will, cuz it's prolly an extensions' conflict.
