No File After Having Downloaded Quite often I will download a file. The completely downloaded file transfers to the Shared folder but when I go to unstuff it, the system takes me back to the downloading screen and nothing happens or else if I have Limewire closed it will open Limewire and again, do nothing. When I double click on the ikon with command "I", it will show me the stats. It then shows me that I have a full download. What, if anything can I do to remedy this situation? GRAPHICA |
Mac systems sometimes wrongly associated files with LimeWire. The easiest solution is to open the program you want to use seperately and drag the file into it (or drag the file onto the icon of the program to start it). |
NO FILE Thank You. As much as I'm on these thimgs you'd think I'd have thought of that. You are absolutely correct. Until recently, I had completely forgotten that you could open a file like that. I was over at a friens plaxe the other nite and I watched him drag the file ontp the application. I d completely forgotten to open things that way.. I always keep my apps in one folder neatly tucked away somewhere and I keep a folder in the upper L of my screen with ALIUS's in it. As a rule, I always open my apps from the alius folder. Thanks again. I'll give it a try. GRAPHICA |
