Calling is faster if they have a help desk. Sometimes the first people to answer the phone don't know what the "gnutella network" is, so you can ask if they allow connections over port 6346. It's also a good idea to ask if they allow Peer to Peer filesharing (p2p).

my limewire will not connect to the port that you said, i press connect and the button turns green but i cant get any search results or anything. im using a 56 K modem.

modem connections can be difficult. Does your ISP allow gnutella connections?
