![]() When I used to download from limewire the music file would have an MP3 icon, as well as the suffix .mp3. I had no problems playing a song. Now when I download a file there is not an MP3 icon, but what looks like a blank white piece of paper (however, the MP3 suffix is still there). When I double click the file it asks me to select a 'quicktime translation' in order to play. Without the files being "full"or "complete" MP3s I can't convert them to aif's in order to burn them. What could be the problem? |

![]() Looks like the file-mapping got set to the generic icon. Just open your quicktime control panel and have it reset the defaults, or go to the File Exchange Control Panel and reset the .mp3 files to Quicktime there too. Better yet would be to download iTunes for OS 9 (you're using OS 9?) and set it as your internet music player. |
