Question Another "OPTIONS issue & (VM) ???

I'm new to this forum however, I've been using limewire ever since it was first released. Until now, I've never had a problem with it.
I can't open up the option menu either. I don't mean to sound redundant, being this particular subject has already been addressed, however, despite all the friendly advise, nothing seems to remedy the situation.

My only option would be to download one of the previous versions & install it. Only thing that's holding me back from doing so has to do with the fact that I've purchased the most recent release of LM Pro. So if I'm going to download a previous version, I want to make certain that it's a pro version.

Also, can anyone tell me what the (VM) version is? I'm assuming that "VM" is referring to "Virtual Memory" .

I have a G3 (blue & white) running 9.2.1 (no OS X)

Thanx!

Download the latest version, or the latest beta.

There were a great many problems with the 3.5.x-3.6.x in Classic, with tens of thousands of bugs reporting in regarding the options too, I believe. I believe the most current version fixes these problems.

Default Which One?

I'm totally being serious here. I am the king of dumb dumbs when it comes time for understanding things such as "run time for java".
If my memory serves, there's more than one download option for the most recent LW version.
Which one should I download the Mac version or the Mac (VM) ?

Thanx a mil!

As Blackbird says, use the latest version of LW (the link to the Pro Beta is on the bottom of your Pro page).

Mac's Runtime version of Java' Virtual Machine (MRJ VM) that runs on OS 9 is confusingly labeled. It's the "MRJ 2.2.5" located in your utilities folder. Here's the link for more info http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75097

So, if you already have it,you just need to download the LW installer with no VM.

[btw--spearson (Soren) posts about OS 9 most--watch especially for his posts]
