How do i watch a movie

Default I cant figure out how to view movies.
I tried to download a **** on lime wire, and I cant figure out how to watch the movie. I have tried to double click it, and it always says that i dont have the proper software or sumthin, I have quicktime, and all that, but i don't know what i need.

Please help me,

thx im dl'ing that thing now hope it plays .mov files if not it probily helps som how all ways good to have newer v of most things ^_^
