Mac 8.6 unable to listen to downloaded music I love limwire, so I download music files all the time. Anyway, ever since I put it on my Mac with 8.6, I can't listen to any files I download. When I double click them, it brings up limewire and sits there. Help! I want to listen to my music! |

Which version of LW do you have? Make sure you have the latest version which is 4.0.3 which can be downloaded from the Limewire.com site. Do you have PRO or the free version? What player were you using to listen to your MP3s? If Quicktime or whatever player you're using, go into your File Exchange Control Panels & make sure the player is mapped to open all your MP3 files & not LimeWire. Afterwards, rebuild your desktop by restarting & holding down the apple+option keys. When promp about Rebuilding, click yes. |
