Shared Files

Mac OS9
Cable Network-Time Warner ISP

Do my audio files need to be formatted as MP3 in order to share them?
My files are presently formatted as AIFF.

AIFF & AAC are ok (at least I used to see them more often about a year ago). Some folks will have to convert them to a different format, like WAV, to listen to them.
