Default tool>options; do not appear

G3/333 powerbook 320 RAM
Options under tools does not appear and hence I cannot use the close down function.
any ideas why it is not available

Yes. This is only for Windoze users. They have to go to Tools then there is an extra option entitled, well, Options.
We, as proud Mac users always have Preferences (the same as options) under the Applications name Tab, for all applications, including LW. Why change the standard?
So, to go to "Options", click the Limewire tab (the one in bold to the left of the "File" tab) and then click Preferences.

Well murasame is kinda wrong , on os 9 it is options (only os x has preferences). Kevin, do you have apple java mrj 2.2.5? This seems to be a problem of java. Also, try to reboot your computer to see if it fixes the problem. Another tip: don't forget to increase the ram allowed to LW (apple-i, then set the max memory to 80 000k).

Kevin might have OSX: that's why I wrote that (a poor excuse to cover ignorance...)

as a matterof fact, mes amis, I have both so I can attempt both solutions .Although shutting down has no effect as it happens every time I am on line.
