![]() music you get through LimeWire (or any p2p program) depends on the file format. mp3 is probably the most common. Use the Library Pane's Explore button in LimeWire to see which kind of file you downloaded. see the tips here about getting your downloads into iTunes http://www.kapsi.de/files/itunes.html Quote:

![]() 'You have inserted a disc containing no volumes that Mac OS X can read - to continue with disc inserted, click Ignore'. That's a tip from this website (click on link.) Same principle. At least you'll find out one way or another when you actually try to burn what the issue might be. Dare I say it, even the odd top 'brand name' gets it wrong once in a while as for as faulty media. |

![]() I'm sure many of us on the forum had 'those experiences' with cheap media. The very 1st brand I tried would show signs of distortion within about 4 mths. I was told the TOC (Table Of Contents) which is the main directory of the disk & tells the cd reader where items can be found, of that brand would start to corrode within 12 mths. That means both audio & data cd's becoming unreadable. That co. was sued & went broke. But they're back on the market with new owners. But this same principle is the same for most el cheapo cd's as the point you made. |
