Mac version - launch button Hello - Is the launch button supposed to be starting the downloaded file in the appropriate player? I'm getting nothing when I hit the launch button. Should I reinstall? Running 9.1 on new iBook - haven't made the leap to OSX yet, but it looks like it may be a good idea to do so soon! thanks |
Hiya, The "launch button" in Limewire should activate/run the file you have selected - just as if you "launched" it dirtectly from MacOS. Under the Library tab, selected "Refresh" to refresh the file listings, then highlight a file you want to launch, and click Launch. If you have selected a file associated with Quicktime then Quicktime will play the file, etc - the file will load with the appropriate application. Caution: Avoid something that loads up Photoshop to view, you'll be heading towards a crash.... Not working? Try this - copy a MP3 or file YOU KNOW works ok - put it in the d/load folder for Limewire - In Limewire, click Refresh, the copy of your file will appear (and now ready for sharing!) - Click Launch, the file should load up and play/be actioned Presto. Any probs post a followup. |
Drag and drop the mp3 file into iTunes, it will play from there. I have osX though, I dont know if it works with os9. |
