cd burning problem

I'm wondering if Limewire MP3 files could be affecting my eMac when I try to burn CD's. Before I started using Limewire everything was working fine, now, about 1000 songs have been downloaded from Limewire and I can't burn a CD. It starts out with the first 2-3 tracks and then spits it out saying there was an error and could not finish burning.

Is this something to do with Limewire or is it..... (GASP!!!!!!!) my hardrive?

Any ideas?
