java and also rebuild I did try updating the Java, and rebuilt the desktop after you suggested it. Also saw this from member Stief below; I'm wondering if the best way to solve this is to get into OSX or hire someone to take a look at this, but I think my beige G3 233 is a bit of a dinosaur. I'm thinking it's time to really get into a new computer, as I use my MAC for a lot of music stuff. Stief wrote in another post: <<Apple, java, and recently LW gave up on java for OS 9. LW for OS 9 is frozen at 4.0 You might get LW 4 to work on OS 9 (some do), but if not, OS X is getting to be the only practical way to do filesharing on the Mac. Sorry |
