Using OS 8.6
I was using version 1.3 for 2 months. This Monday, it stopped working &
started freezing. It will not let me uninstall, reinstall (by
downloading the installer again), or install version 1.6. The message it
gives when I try to uninstall, reinstall, or install the new version is
this:

Invocation of this Java Application has caused an Invocation Target

i've downloaded both 1.7 and 1.6b and both installers tell me the same exact message about java. i have downloaded and installed mrj 2.2.5. and my system is 9.04.

hmmm. this is really depressing me.
