Default No problems now...

Comes and goes. I had problems this summer, but things seem ok now. No, I still like Limewire better than the rest of them. Try uninstalling and installing a newer version.

Default Thanks for the beta

Well, I guess that I will stick with it. I was thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling, and so I guess that's what I'll do. Thanks and we'll if that fixes things up.

Default Mactella

I hate Mactella it sucks. I get to download one file and then the whole program either shuts down or it freezes my computer. I have no other trroubles with my other applications that I run just this one. It is very unstable.

Default reload doesn't solve the problem

Well it sounds like Mactella is doing to you what Limewire is doing to me. I have unistalled Limewire, reinstalled it, even redownloaded it, all to no avail. Either the program freezes my computer right from the start, or immediately after I start a search. In fact, I can't even force it to close and end up having to shut the entire computer down. It's really frustrating. I don't understand, because just last week I was able to run the program 75% of the time. The rest of the time it was just like I described. Any other suggestions?

I'm having great success with both Limewire and Mactella today. Do you have Virtual Memory turned on? If so, try turning it off.
