Dear Lord of the Rings - I did a Homer! Hi guys, just joined so this thread will be pretty boring and has probably been answered before but when it comes to tech I put the Ludd in luddite. We had Limewire Pro going so well until one night I decided to 'clean up' the HD and thrashed the Limewire icon from HD. In their advice they say to delete Limewire from Preferences and delete 'install limewire' receipt from Library/Receipts. Trouble is neither are/were there as far as I can see. Is there any easy answer, I wouldnt even mind paying again and promising never to delete anythong again. Cheers |

Thanks LOTR, yes I uninstalled it, I have my LimeWire Pro personal page, I have also deleted all the preferences, when I get the icon to install again nothing happens, LimeWire was working beautifully before I trashed it ! I am such an idiot, any other ideas ? Cheers |

That's either b/c of a limewire pkg file sitting in your receipts folder or you need to reinstall Java. See: Can't launch LW: Bouncing in Dock (click on link) |
