112mb available with microsoft mail opened and finder
dial up modem
socks firewall?? disabled
router address??? none available
home computer
tried test yes it worked did that awhile ago too??

I was not asking for your router address. I was asking if you used a router & if yes what brand & model. The same about the modem. These devices might be part of the problem.

Go here: http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml & choose a video file & select to downld. These are called magnet links & will downld via LW. Let's see if this will get you connected.

(Oh I hope LW 4.0.10 has magnet support.)

My modem is imac 56k internal
and whats router?
I did use to be able to use limewire a while ago but somethings change cant connect on either 4.0.10 or 4.0.8
and no my limewire 4.0.10 does not support magnet thingy???
