![]() I am an AOL subscriber, with a G5 with 1.5G RAM, and plenty of HD space; running OS 10.3.9, and the newest AOL browser. I also installed the Java patch. After reading the FAQ, I installed the newest IE, and tried to download LW with that. The file comes down as a MS Excel file, which seems MOST unlikely. StuffIt cannot open it, and says that it does not appear to be compressed (also unlikely?). Any ideas for a workaround? Before I read that AOL's browser can foul up the LW download, I was able to download an installable version, but it crashed everytime I clicked in the search box, so I threw that version away, installed IE, and tried redownloading (twice), with the result above. Could there be some parameter in IE that I need to alter? Thanks, KT |
