Default Naming your file

I once thought this problem had me beat.... My solution worked for every file I received. Even if your file has a .mp3 extension, try renaming it anyway ie: phatsong.mp3, at this point the file should be converted to a readable mp3. Also, try dragging it onto your mp3 player icon (this works in the case of iTunes) or else try importing or adding your file from you mp3 player. Hope this helps, because it took me a long time to figure it out myself.

Arrow Typeshufflers the answer

You need Typeshuffler, you can download it for free here http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0...st-7-1.3897253
Once you download it you drag whatever file is still a limewire file, for example an mp3, a little window pops up and you drag an itunes(or your mp3 player's) mp3. Hope this will help

Default had same problem

I find if the file name is to long it will save the file as a limewire doc, what i do is highlight the file in my download folder, then go under the file menu on the desktop, select get info and then shorten the file name and add the extension, that worked every time for me
