Default I have a question about transfering songs from Limew to an ipod/Sony Network walkman.

Ok, I can't install iTunes because I have Windows 98, is there any other way? I wanna know this before I get one (Btw I think I'll get the Sony Network walkman instead of the iPod, it's a better deal).

I don't know about the "other" but there's other 3rd party programs you can use to add to your iPod you should check out 1st. 1. How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) (mostly applies to but not only windows), 2. How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) for mac users

ie: visit the iPod or iTunes forum sections & see what's available for 3rd party apps for adding to iPod. Else, you can ask them. If you find the answer, can you post it here for the sake of others.

Oh I just realised why I felt confused in my posting. You're using Win 98 & you're posting in the general mac section. Wrong section!!! I'm not sure iPod will recognise win 98, you'll need to check!!!

You want to be sure 1st!!! Do some googling to see what user responses are to that driver. Is it reliable???? Doesn it mean you have all the abilities that win XP users have re: iPod? Is yours a visual pod. Is it QuickTime 7 compatible so you can add videos to your iPod if it is a visual iPod?!

I would do this type of research myself. I have a suspicion you have some decent research abilities (you found the 98 driver) so explore on this other point also.
