Default Why is Mac Limewire download so huge??

It's written in Java, I understand. Why the extra 8 MBs??

Thumbs up I see now what had been hidden!

I was sure I had the latest version, but how could I tell? when none of the installed files, or the App show what version, nor any ReadMe nor the installer log, nor even the Apple menu About!

The info was only finally found in the Help/About menu.

I see now... the NoVM version is cropped by some 6MB!

Because the MRJ (Macintosh Runtime for java) is included I think. MRJ is needed to run JAVA applications.
