![]() I am running Mac OS 9. have LimeWire 1.7c but as of today it won't open. I receive a message as follows: "Fatal Application Error. The application has unexpectedly quit. Invocation of this java application has caused an ExceptionInitializerError. This application will now exit. (LAX). Since I last used Limewire I installed Quictime 5 and Adobe Type Manager 4.6.2. Do either of these conflict with LimeWire ? What could I do to Open LimeWire? |

![]() Running Mac OS 9.2.1... Keep getting an error each time I try to start the app. First was using 1.7 then updated to the 1.8. Still get the following error (in detail): java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel: method setCurrentTheme(Ljavax/swing/plaf/metal/MetalTheme ![]() at com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.LimeLookAndFeel.<init>( LimeLookAndFeel.java:21) at at com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Initializer.<init>(Comp iled Code) at at com.limegroup.gnutella.gui.Main.main(Main.java:17) at com.zerog.lax.LAX.launch(Compiled Code) at com.zerog.lax.LAX.main(Unknown Source) at com.apple.mrj.JManager.JMStaticMethodDispatcher.ru n(JMAWTContextImpl.java) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java) I told someone else to try and install it and it works fine on her ibook. But not my powerbook g4. massive bummer. Hope someone has a fix. |
