Is it just me or is 1.8 a step back? Version 1.8 took away limewire's best features! It doesn't say how much data is available anymore! And we can't choose our hosts anymore either! We're stuck with autoconnect hosts. And to break the camel's back, the entire thing is about twice as slow as 1.7!!! Give us our old limewire back!!!! |

yeah some of my favorite feature are mssing, like how much information is on the network. But I also have to take in the fact that their are pople that would get confused by that stuff so they have to try adn make limewire simpler for them. Oh well, I am sticking to 1.7 untill 1.9 comes out. |

It's not just you. . . 1.8 is not as good as 1.7. I really regret not saving the 1.7 installer. I did find my old 1.6 which I'm going to try. I'm also going to try the 1.8 (no VM) whatever that is. |
