Are you able to put your insert point ( looks like an "I") into the window?

I will ask you once. Stop the rude sarcasm or your posts will be edited.

I cannot enter text in the chat window.I've tried several different key combinations, but that just does funky things to my menubar. This has been the case since ver.1.8, I am now using 2.1.3. I also use it in OSX, same thing. People do get annoyed with you, when you don't answer a simple question.I can't find the answer to this anywhere on this forum. I especially wonder why it's not in the FAQ. Surely this is affecting a number of users. Thanks for any help.

This is a bug in LW.

It's not in the FAQ because people like Mr. Unregistered never stick around long enough for me to find out what the problem is or determine what version it affects. So, all I can say is "it's a bug." But I thank you for giving some information on this.
Which MRJ do you use?

cynsurf5 January 31st, 2002 06:26 AM

I am running mrj 2.2.5. I hope that helps.

We'll see what the developers can do.

I am doing quite a bit of work on the Mac version, so I will look into this issue for the next major release of LimeWire. Thanks TruStar for pointing out this thread -- I had completely missed it!
