Converting AVI into QT mov I downloaded an AVI file, but can't get it to play on my Mac. All Quicktime does is show a blank white movie. Any suggestions? |
QT can be funky that way.... Try downloading Windows Media Player for Mac. That will probably do the job.... |
other options Sorry buddy Winvid wont work. If you are running < osX you're out of luck. You may try Vid4Win @ http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0...lst-7-1.892955 not reliable but may work for older avis Otherwise if you are running OS X your best bet is Divx for X @ http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0...st-7-4.7830686 |
It's worked for me before in the past...although not exactly 100%. Tahnks for the heads up. |
THE SOLUTION!! I had the same problem, you've to download the divx player at http://www.mac.st/ then download too the windows media player at www.microsoft.com. Intall first the W Media Player and then the divxplayer, when you're done open the divxplayer and is going to ask you where's the WMP, just find it in your hard drive and that's it. |
until MP is osx compatable, i open them in classic. some files will not open in either program. some windows stuff does not port well. avi, asf |
