help on *.img .sit downloads Hi all I need a little help when I'm downling a file with .img.sit extensions. I can't run the file. I go to Aladdin Expander, it asks where I want to put the expanded files, creates a directory and does nothing else. Am I doing this correctly? thanks in advance for your help Alan |

The img.sit means that it is a disk image stored inside a stuffit archive. Expanding the archive will result in a file with the .img extension. This is a disk image, and you will probably need Disk Copy or Shrinkwrap to mount it. Once it is mounted, it will show up on your desktop and mac os will treat it like any other disk. |
