After d/l of Installer, the installer is run only to find nothing installed
Please Help...also it puts folders in my trash.

I have a similar problem that the installer can't find the MRJ installer when trying to upgrade the present MAC OS Runtime
for Java. The download from Apple didn't help either.

yes i can download but when i try to open the file it say "corrupted file".... i also try to download all the new stuff from apple or aladin but the answer is always the same..... help us please

Which version of the Mac installer are you using?

The way I got around the installer saying a zip file was corrupted was I got info on the install file and increased it perfered memory from384 to 900k... Andre54

A big THANKS to you! I was having the same problem trying to install version 2.0 on my beige Mac G-3 using 8.6. I was getting the "corrupted file" Zip deal also attempting to install, so I went to "get info" as you suggested and upgraded the preferred memory from 384 to 900k and wham!.......the program installed as smooth as butter.........THANKS AGAIN! Hope this information helps others!

yes i am sorry i had post a few time here and i forget to answer this one :

yes if you change the memory to more place (i add a zero) it work well

(select the file , press the apple key and "i" and then find memory and change it for more...)

the new limewire works better than the oldest one for me.

I am having the same problem. "Where is the install package looking for the MRJ Install software?" Did anyone come up with a fix?

I have the same problem installing LimeWire on my beige G3 running 9.1. When I install, nothing happens, and it puts files and folders in my trash. What can I do? I did download the 11.3 MB installer as suggested by the FAQ. Any help would be greatly appreciated, by many besides myself.
