Corrupt downloads

Ok so download the application program (all 10 megs of it) and when i come to double click the install icon (for 1.8 version) it says that the installer is corrupt .. i have downloaded it numerous times from all different sources on the limewire site and still to no avail .. it even happens with the 1.9 beta vesion! any ideas anyone?

Increase the preferred size of the installer in the file info dialog -- increase it to, say 3MB.

what and where is file info dialog located i'm having the same problem

If you press the apple key and press "i" with the installer selected, you should see the file dialog come up. You can also go to, I believe, the apple menu and "file info" or "get info," something like that.

i have the same problem.... i download a few time and have the "corrupt" file when i try to install it.
I was using the program a few time ago and it was working. What can i do to install it now?

Changing the Memory of the install Icon to 3MB solved the corrupt error problem I was having.... Thanks ADAM!!!!!
